"The Hunch Back Tiger is my favourite piece on my office wall, as I find personal meaning in the depiction of the chimera; combination of animals. Each animal part lends its own contribution to the whole, just as each employee brings something special to the organisation.

Forest Rain was very engaging during the sale and their frame installation contractors very efficient and tidy in their work.

The ink itself is a very wieldable medium, but lacks life. I must then congratulate the artist Ms. Ieo for being able to bring the chimera to life, by intricate detailing and clever use of paper textures.

"We wanted to buy something that represented Singapore and since the artist, Lim Leong Seng, is well known for his bronze artworks, we thought that getting "Chinese Coolie" was a good choice. It's not a very controversial piece of art and everybody sees his life size artworks at many places in Singapore, so by having a small piece in our place would be great. Chinese Coolie compliments with other artworks that we have in our place, including other sculptures and potteries.
